WHAT ARE YOUR CANDLES MADE OF?

Our pillar candles are made of a soy blend wax. The beeswax candles are made of 100% beeswax and our skincare candles are made from 100% soy wax, shea and coco butter. Our signature black candle are made with a synthetic dye. The dye can stain skin, cloth and other materials therefore never place black pillar candles on furniture or surfaces without the proper candle holder. Some people may have allergic reactions to specific ingredients in the dye –so please use caution when handling.

DO YOU USE LEAD WICKS?

No. We only use cotton wicks.

WHAT KIND OF FRAGRANCE OILS DO YOU USE?

Our candles, room sprays and body balm candles are a combination of natural, essential and fragrance oils. We also offer fragrance free products.

ARE YOUR CANDLES ORGANIC?

Only our beeswax candles and body balm candles are organic.

IS THERE A PROPER WAY TO BURN YOUR CANDLES?

Yes! A candle burn is affected by several factors including size and shape of the candle and vessel, wick, fragrance oil, temperature/draft in the room, etc. The key to achieving the perfect burn is to always allow your candle to completely liquify across the top before blowing it out to avoid tunneling. Before each burn, make sure your wick is trimmed to ¼”. Discontinue burning your candle when about ½” of wax remains.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU RESTOCK PRODUCTS?

To ensure optimal freshness many of our products are made right before or at the time an order is placed. New candle collections are replenished with monthly releases. Be sure to follow us on IG: @ruthierosehome and sign up for our newsletter so you’re in the loop on the next release date.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

We begin processing your order as soon as we receive it. Due to the high volume of orders and COVID-19 shipping delays, processing takes 5- 7 business days (and orders placed after 12PM CST are processed the next business day). A notification email with a tracking number will be sent to you as soon as your package ships.

 

Please note, once a package is picked up and scanned in by our carrier, the shipping and delivery status is no longer within our control. We are unable to replace missing or stolen packages at this time. Please reach out directly to the courier for missing or stolen packages. We are not responsible for shipping addresses that were incorrectly entered at checkout.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We regret that we are unable to offer international shipping at this time. We look forward to expanding soon.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?

Yes! We have virtual Gift Card options available ranging from $15 - $100

All Cards will be delivered to the email you specified during checkout. Gift cards expire 365 days from purchase date.

REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR EXCHANGES?

Due to the nature of our hand-crafted products and the time that it takes for production, we do not offer refunds or returns at this time. If you have an issue with your order, please email hello@ruthierosehome.com within 24 hours of receiving your order.

I RECEIVED A DAMAGED CANDLE(S)/PRODUCT. WHAT DO I DO?

We are a team of passionate connoisseurs who are diligently at work packing and shipping your orders. We take precautions to pack your items to ensure safe arrival, however, damages do happen once our packages are handed off to the carrier. If your package arrives damaged, please send a photo of your unused products with the package to hello@ruthierosehome.com within 24 hours of receiving your order. You will also have to file a damage claim with the shipping carrier in order to receive store credit.
